Inspired by the true events that erupted into a war crime concerning three American brothers who fought in the Kosovo War, and their unlawful executions by Serbian forces two weeks after NATO declared the war over, 'Innocence' depicts their final moments before death and parallels their story to that of three youthful brothers in the final moments of a childhood soccer game. In essence, 'Innocence' illustrates how all soldiers are ultimately someone's children, and whether men or boys, soldiers or players will just 'do as they are told' in order to gain acceptance from an authority figure.
