Robert, his wife Lynn, and their nine year old son, Derrick, seem like your typical, all-American family, but when Derrick begins having a visitor in his room at night, his parents begin to worry as they realize that he is not having bad dreams, due to the intensity of his visits, from a man called Sunshine. Lynn becomes distraught after finding out about their new and mysterious neighbor's past and is angered by her husband's lies. The suspense builds to a shocking end as Sunshine is finally revealed.
