A DIY Funeral

Three brothers living in a small Australian country town rekindle their dysfunctional relationship when carrying out their mother's unusual wish for a DIY Funeral. In the process of fulfilling their mother's dying request the brothers' funeral preparations are challenged by their animosity with each other, and everyday upsets and unplanned events. Through the dark comedic events that occur, the brothers find a common ground on which to communicate and support each other going forward.Set over a time frame of a few days, we see the way that a tragic event can unbalance people and open up lines of communication that they don't normally have. We also see events that happen everyday but when a dead body is involved take on a new meaning.
