The Next Big Thing is a comedy about Perry Brown, an out-of-work actor who is trying to balance his failing career with his long distance relationship. When Perry's girlfriend Julia shows up and gives him an ultimatum about their relationship, Perry rushes to his agent to try and secure an audition. Hilarity ensues when the audition turns out to be for something very different than what Perry thought it would be.
