From the State Dining Room in Scone Palace, Scotland, a Burns Supper, celebrating the birth of Robert Burns, complete with haggis and all of the accompanying addresses and toasts and recitals and speeches and songs. Ian Charleson hosts and sings 'My Love Is Like a Red, Red Rose' and John Cairney gives the Address to the Haggis and recites 'A Man's a Man for A' That'. Kenneth McKellar sings 'Rantin', Rovin' Robin' and 'Flow Gently, Sweet Afton'. Norman MacCaig toasts The Immortal Memory. Gerald Warner gives the Toast to the Lassies and Vivien Heilbron gives the reply. Jack Weir recites 'Holy Willie's Prayer'. William McIlvanney gives the Toast to Caledonia and Nicholas Fairbairn gives the reply. The Corries sing 'Ye Jacobites by Name' and 'MacPherson's Lament'. The bagpiper is Allan MacDonald.
