Codeine & Wine

We've all attended bad family dinners but this one takes the cake. A girl is silenced by her family, clay smeared across her mouth, while a strange veiled man taunts her from the head of the table. Her parents, blinded to her suffering, gorge themselves on the decaying fruit and rotting meat smothered on the table. The girl, knowing she is destined for this blindness if she remains, smears away the clay and finds her voice.
