Mallory is having a terrible day. Numerous events have caused her to be late for work where her uptight boss fires her. As Mallory tries to light a cigarette after leaving her work, a man mysteriously appears and offers her his clover leaf emblazoned lighter. After Mallory takes the lighter, the man vanishes leaving the lighter behind. Mallory puts the lighter in her pocket, and her day takes a strange turn.
