After young Carlo witnesses the death of his father, at the hands of a ruthless villain who steals from him the title of Sheriff, Carlo escapes with the enigmatic fighter, the Hombre. Carlo struggles to deal with the pain of his loss while the Hombre struggles to find a way to mentor Carlo. In the end, they come together and reconcile their differences to fight the villain, and Carlo reclaims and earns the title of Sheriff.
