A young man is so traumatized by the violent death of his girlfriend that his subconscious creates fantasy world to protect himself from the pain. Confused, he is pursued by beasts and lured further into a make-believe forest by a girl who resembles his lost love. He must eventually confront the truth and choose between grief or embracing a beautiful facade.
