Shades of Grey on the Silver Screen

At the end of the Jazz Age, May, a young Chinese actress, has just completed her first role in a major motion picture. Through a ballad of her memories, between a night's love affair and scenes from her most recent film, her struggle is revealed both in her search for success and in her love life.
