Pierre Prevost lives in southwestern France, the land of prehistoric cave painters and other ancient dwellers. He is a sculptor, drawer, painter, craftsman, engineer and architect. On several acres of forest and pasture, and along the rock walled paths, he creates a magical place inhabited by fantastical creatures from his imagination. He lives in the margin of non-conformity, giving new life and purpose - practical and artistic - to discarded objects he finds in junkyards and flea markets of the surrounding villages. The documentary explores Pierre's world and art; and accompanies Pierre as he stages 'interventions artistiques' around a farm pond, along a dusty village road and on a Mediterranean beach. Cyril Caumont has composed a wonderful, experimental soundtrack that perfectly interprets the images in the film.
