Harmonized Sales Tax, a tax passed one year ago raising the sales tax in British Columbia from 6% to 12%. The anger among the 85 British Columbia constituencies, generated from the newly implemented Harmonized Sales Tax has galvanized citizens from across British Columbia to join a citizen lead initiative to repeal the burdensome tax. When the People's Majority has spoken, the question becomes, who is going to decide who gets the final say on a policy? The People or the Government? If it's the government, you have a dictatorship; in which case we have a much bigger problem than the Harmonized Sales Tax.
