Everyone Waves Goodbye is a neo-realist film about the inevitable letting go of ones child and the experiences they will encounter unsupervised. Anjeli, a curious five year old new to Canada, has been sent to pick up a bag of sugar from the neighbors home. She is told not to wander into a nearby field. What will she do when an undeniable sound calls for Anjeli's attention in the very place she is forbidden to go?
