Writer's Block tells the story of how Greg, a straight A, overachiever that could ace the essays all the other students couldn't, met his match. When assigned to write a simple children's story for his English class, the uncreative Greg is stumped and is faced with the problem of writer's block, literally. While struggling to come up with ideas for his story, cinder blocks appear on Greg's hands that prevent him from writing. Meanwhile, the awkward Greg tries to woo over one of his classmates, Stephanie, with the help of his suave best friend Matt. Over the course of the film, Greg learns lessons about confidence, believing in yourself and imagination.
