You Could Be Mine is a coming of age dramatic comedy that features some crude humor and harsh language. The story focuses around Tyler (25), an average guy with what seems to be a somewhat average dilemma: He's in love with a girl with a boyfriend. Things get complicated however when the relationship between him and the object of his affection (Josie) start stretching the boundaries of what could be called platonic. With the advice of his friends Tyler decides to finally tell Josie how he feels and in turn is rejected. Several months later Tyler still struggles with his feelings for Josie, only to find out a secret about her that may destroy his total perception of who she is.
