When Dan, a quiet and shy coffee shop clerk develops a fascination with one of his customers, Charlotte, he decides to ask her out on a date in spite of his nerves. The result is a seemingly perfect night for both Dan and Charlotte. What begins as a blossoming new relationship soon reveals itself to be one that is built on false perceptions, fueled by what is unknown and held together by latent insecurities.
