Groucho Marx quits comedy and becomes a dean at a high school. He has a hard time trying to be as serious as possible, but a good comedian develops a reflex over the year and Groucho subconsciously takes other people's words as cues. He eventually succeeds, but what does the success mean to him? Is it a success story or a tragedy?
