After the death of an acquaintance, four close friends escape the tumult of the city and journey into rural New Zealand for the funereal and some peace of mind. At a rest stop on the side of the road, Jasmine leaves the car to go for a walk - wandering into local farmland. She doesn't return. Michael, Anna & Levi are left in an unfamiliar landscape, searching for their friend and dealing with the grief of sudden loss and the guilt of those who remain.
