Winter is a 12 year old triathlete and founder of Team Winter - a team made of athletes all around the world who raise awareness and money for prostate cancer research. In 2009, Winter lost her father to a very aggressive form of prostate cancer and has since been competing in his name. Winter ran her 1st marathon when she was 5, and has since broken all types of records for her age group - most recently placing first in the '19 and under' category at the Eugene Marathon and 2nd at the IronKids championship in Orlando Florida. In 2011, Winter will be embarking on her next 'Team Winter' project... becoming the youngest person to run 7 marathons on 7 continents.
