HEALING SPIRIT: Lest We Forget the Frontier Wars

On ANZAC Eve 2011 the first lantern vigil descends Mt Ainslie behind the War Memorial in Canberra. A Chorus of Women reminds us of the value value of peace over war. The next day Aboriginal people and supporters remember the Frontier Wars fought on Australian soil by joining the end of the Easter Monday Anzac Day march to the War Memorial. Signs remembering wars of resistance and massacres are carried behind the banner: Least We Forget the Frontier Wars.
