West Middle is a magical-realism, coming-of-age, urban-Western about a young boy's first day of school. His eagerness to fit in immediately lands him in questionable company. Caught in a conflict between a janitor/sheriff and a group of bad kids/outlaws, he seeks the guidance of his imaginary cowboy friend as he traverses this new frontier.
