Drive-Thru follows the tourist as they spend a short stop at Nils' reindeer summer camp. The visit is part of their tour towards the North Cape (Norway) the northernmost point in Europe. Every summer more than 200.000 tourist discover the tundra landscape and a stop at Nils is their only chance to encounter Lapp culture, after days of traveling thousands of kilometers by plane, cruises and buses. Nils is a reindeer herding Sami that has worked with reindeer husbandry for decades, while at the same time his picture can be found on thousands of photo albums on the whole world. The documentary presents a close look at how culture is consumed today, no matter if you are in front of the camera or behind it.
