Khalid is a prisoner who got caught up in tumultuous political activity taking place in the Middle East. In prison, he meets Ali, his cellmate who is part of a Shi'ite sect. Though somewhat bumpy at the beginning, over time they develop a close friendship in the confines of their shared prison cell. However, their unity soon becomes under threat by a figure of power and oppression, the root cause of this division is yet to be known.
