A young woman, Frances spends a weekend with her boyfriend Maurice in a hut deep in the forest. Maurice invites his best friend Simon, who is joined by Caroline. They want to have a nice time and go hiking. Caroline exceeds Frances' tolerable limits. Frances is skeptical and keeps her distance from Caroline. Maurice does not notice any of it, so he is having fun with Caroline. Simon instead is concerned it was not good to bring Caroline with him. Frances is sure Maurice wants more than just a nice small talk with Caroline. A conflict is arises and in the end there is a fatal decision.
