Rui, a decent, hardworking and accomplished man, fights a daily battle against the growing mental and emotional debility of his wife, Isabel. After arriving home one night, after work, Rui faces a nightmarish scenario as Isabel brutally kills herself in front of him. This traumatic episode launches Rui in catatonic state. No matter the fact that Rui can feel the support of his loved ones trying to bring him back to reality, he condemns himself to live in dream worlds, created in his own mind, were he tries, over and over again, to have an happy ending with Isabel.
