PROSPECTS is an essayist documentary featuring women based in the Mediterranean and about their ideas and images of paradise and / or Utopia. The interviews were done with women of different backgrounds living in Italy, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Israel/Palestine, Egypt, Morocco and France. The interviews were done in the particular native languages (Italian, Greek, Turkish, Hebrew, Arabic, French). Subtitles are in English. The women are not visible, there's just Black throughout the whole film, except some short breaks, when images are flashing for a moment, showing some ideas of the Garden Eden discovered in the Mediterranean. These images also structure the film: they are implemented between 7 correspondingly arranged interview-blocks in the film. The soundtrack consists of these interviews, field recordings and fragmented sound compositions.
