The Eidolon House is a suburban tragedy. A story about a disjointed family reaching for ideals it can never attain. There is Joy, a freshly married young intellectual, Beaver and Ira her new stepchildren, and Russell, her husband: a businessman embroiled in scandal. They are each engaged in their own struggle with the bizarre manifestations of their fears and desires.
