A woman comes home from a family party to face the wrath of her husband. This film seeks to challenge the accepted Hollywood perception of women overcoming abuse. Inspired by actual events, the film depicts a deeper reason for why women choose to stay with their abusive husbands. The protagonist stays because she does not know any better. She withstands the abuse because she loves him, because he is all that she knows, and because being alone would hurt her even more.
