The Sweepstakes is a coming of age story about a local boy, Kaimana, who seeks to find friendship in a most unusual way. Surfing is in and Kaimana feels out of the loop. He takes a chance and attempts to enter a contest to win a surfboard in hopes that he will win over a new friend in return. But, things take a 'milky' turn... Will Kaimana win the sweepstakes?
