Without him knowing a young man gets into possession of a mysterious object the government is searching for. He is wanted and after a shootout in a bar he escapes with the tough barmaid. He finds out that the object can create wormholes which lead into the past. After the barmaid gets killed he tries to safe fer by travelling back in time.
