The Best Kept Economic Secret is a short documentary on the history of filmmaking in Florida, the history of the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association (FMPTA) and the positive economic impact the film industry has on the state of Florida in generating revenue and jobs. This documentary was instrumental in the passage of several bills by the Florida State Legislature. It ultimately helped to make the Florida Film Industry more competitive in attracting producers from other states to create all or part of their feature films, video projects, TV pilots, shows, and/or business projects here.
