Miss. Bülow lives alone with her son, in a big house in the upper class of Denmark. The son has a history of sickness and stands to be committed to the asylum, if he doesn't start to eat, and take his medication. Miss. Bülow begins a bitter fight for her sons life, and she must soon realize that she hasn't got the power over him anymore.
