Maura, a young woman still recovering from the recent death of her father, is confronted without warning or explanation by two strange, unnerving children, whose eyes are solid black. Her days following the first encounter are haunted by visions of black eyes, evoking the memory of those strange children and driving Maura to doubt her safety, and her sanity.
