In an underground martial arts tournament, a skilled fighter named Adam starts to question the brutality of the sport. At the same time, a new up in coming fighter named Kevin starts to build his way up the tournament ranks against the wishes of his peaceful Tai Chi teacher. It doesn't take long for the tournament's fight promoter to bring Adam and Kevin head to head in a battle where there are no heroes.
