Chris is a young writer who works with his best friend Sarah, who was the first to help him discover his aspirations until one day Sarah tells him she is leaving to chase her own abroad. Three years pass and Chris is now working around the clock, with jobs and further studying driven by sheer ambition. The separation form Sarah has not only affected his inspiration but throughout time, his relationships, especially that with his little brother, Luke. The condemning inevitability of loss of friendship, frightens Chris all too much but soon learns that isolation is not the answer. Chris realizes he must actually learn to combine 'both' ambition and friendship if he is to discover the stories he really wants to tell.
