The film documents the events surrounding the play Deb & Chris Get Married - The Musical, which took place at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai, on May 15th 2010. Creative directors of Theater 150 in Ojai, Deb Norton and Chris Nottoli, were always so overwhelmed with the responsibilities of running a theater they never found time to organize their own wedding. Since they couldn't get married because of the theater, they decided to get married for the theater by making their wedding a musical fundraiser for Theater 150's Summer Shakespeare Festival. Without the money the Theater would be closed for the summer.
