The first documentary on the subject of 'adulthood shift,' the tendency of young people in their twenties and thirties to ignore - or reject - the milestones of adulthood. The film follows five young adults, intercutting their lives with old home movies and film clips from the 1950's and 60's, to offer a wry yet penetrating explanation for why so many of today's young people are unable - or unwilling - to get married and settle down in the manner of previous generations.
