Swagger for a Lost Magnificence is a pining for the past, both a real and fantasized one. Filmed in New Orleans, this film discusses the significance of trying, despite how desperate or futile the attempt is. Through the offset of sound and image, the memories, dreams and stagnant reality of three women are pieced together.
