When her mother can't remember the name of her longtime signature scent, Miriam Masterson makes an appointment at a local fragrance shop, hoping to jog her mother's memory, but the heightened emotional environment of the store, swimming in the smell of perfume, only brings back an uncomfortable shared incident from the past neither of the women wants to remember.
