Bali, the 'Island of the Gods' and its neighboring islands are full of legends and mysteries. Until today the stories about miraculous healing, ghost encounters and deadly voodoo spells are very alive. This documentary is a unique quest which gets to the bottom of the legends. We go on a journey to look for the unseen world in Indonesia. For nearly half a year we traveled through the islands of Indonesia to listen to the people, track the stories and examine the magic of this ancient land. It sheds light upon many aspects of the magic culture in Indonesia, such as the traditional beliefs, the business behind it, the unexplainable occult, cultural perceptions, the psychological/medical background and the ancient knowledge of its existence.
