In a war with no names, an unknown, unseen enemy is encroaching upon Nick and Tommy. While the battle rages on outside the tunnel, there is a more personal conflict ensuing inside between the terrified soldiers. As Tommy's fear and paranoia grow, Nick will stop at nothing to keep tight control over his distraught comrade, confident that he knows the best way to keep them alive. Ultimately, both men are driven into behaving in ways that they never thought themselves capable of as the resolution to their conflict is played out.
