Azrael
Filmed on iconic Berlin locations such as the Russian War Memorial, Treptower Park and the city's old airfield, Azrael or The Angels of Death is an experimental introspection into the ill-understood aspects of desire and sexuality. Resisting the temptation of becoming a fully-resolved entity, it forms a series of vignettes each interrogating the angel's self-obsessions - rhythmically. Azrael, dances desire in the city... who's guarding who?
