Ivan brags about his new car every day and his wife, his neighbors and even his colleagues at work have to endure his long rants about the vehicle. One day, on his way to work, a police officer stops him and borrows his car to chase after a criminal. Ivan thus stays behind, waiting on the road for the police officer to return, but when this does not occur, he has to take the bus to work. Days go by but the police does not inform him about the status of his 'borrowed' car. Ivan wonders when is the police finally going to return his vehicle. His colleague, Horvat Bosnjakovic, persuades him to go to the police station for information...
