Polluted follows Jenny,a young professional traveling to her parents home in rural China. Her life unalterably changes upon encountering Jim, a photo journalist covering the environmental devastation and human suffering caused by industrial pollution. Jenny confronts both Chinese authorities and local customs when she helps Jim get the story.
