The Greasy Plate

The wind gently pushed the paper onward. It safely traversed the street, floated thru an open door, and landed on the floor of the neighborhood diner. 'I got it' in the doorway. Claire held the paper above her head smiling in victory. The Greasy Plate was a place that Miss Harper, Claire's Grandmother, identified as undesirable and not worth her attention, neither now or in the past. But, The Greasy Plate, she will soon find out, is More than what it appears.
