In the guise of a children's film, this experimental short focuses on a fake, radio controlled, decoy duck named Beneducktus de Spinoza. Ostracized by real birds, the fake duck espouses a philosophy based on the life and work of world-renowned Dutch-Jewish philosopher Benedictus (Baruch) de Spinoza. In a duck voice, the fake duck explains parts of Spinoza's magnum opus, THE ETHICS, in simple terms, so that laypeople, older children, and young adults can grasp his philosophical ideas.
