Helena Martin is an acclaimed writer of romance novels but this time she is writing a new novel, unlike anything she has done before. Helena has decided to pen a biography of her life where she will reveal all the darkest and most depraved things in her relationship to her mother, famous actress Mari Pili del Campo. The film tells the story of the reunion of Helena and her mother Mari Pili in a dinner that Helena has prepared at her house. Accompanied by her ex-husband and moral support Eduardo, Helena plans to reveal to her mother the existence of the Biography and describe to her in person what happened in those fifteen years since the moment Mari Pili abandoned her. The result is a cathartic battle between two women who, apart from blood, have only one thing in common: inheriting more pain and suffering than what they could handle from their mothers.
