Adam Connelly, a young independent filmmaker with a mysterious dark past becomes inexplicably catatonic during the shooting of his science fiction film 'Acid Rain'. While trying to save the unfinished footage, Rachel and Dan, two of Adam's crew members, discover the unexplainable appearance in the film of someone from Adam's past life... someone dead. What they realize is that Adam might have being transported to the apocalyptic world of 'Acid Rain' in order to save the woman he loves.
