In a desperate search for happiness, a one-legged seventeen year old girl from a very poor home walks into a surreal TV stage to compete in a glamorous dance program. She believes winning will help her overcome a traumatic childhood in which her parents kept her hidden indoors and the society laughed at her for being a sinner in a previous life.
