After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Doctor Henry White's life is turned upside down, when he gets haunted by Death. He destroys his life, piece by piece, in his obsession to come up with a redeeming drug, only for Death to finally confront him. He manages to outrun Death, throwing every last piece of himself in the way, only for him to finally realize what his obsession has truly cost.
